JCSI has started new "SecureSign AD Service" today. This public certificate issuing service conforms to the "the AICPA/CICA WebTrust for Certification Authorities Principles and Criteria", and takes measure against the coming encryption algorithm compromise.

JCSI has discontinued AccreditedSign® Public Service 1. SecureSign® Public Service will be available for the same purpose of AccreditedSign® Public Service 1 with less cost and security.

JCSI has been choosen to be the exclusive certificates provider for the electronic bid system of Saitama Pref.. AccreditedSign® Public Service 2 is modified to create the dedicated service to Saitama and expected to be the defacto standard for this type of application for Japanese local government.

JCSI has renewed AccreditedSign® Public Service 1 and 2 with the new type of certificates: ID type and Attribute type. ID type of certificate includes Japanese expression of Signer's Name, Address, age and sex adding to the contents of our Basic type. Attribute type of certificate also includes Japanese expression of organizational information the signer belonging to, such as Company Name, Company Address, and Title.

SecureSign® root CA certificates have been registered as a trusted root CA in Microsoft® products. Certificate users of SecureSign® Public Service will be able to use certificates more easily than before.
